Free Market Automotives is a private-party vehicle listing platform. The website is designed to allow individuals to list vehicles for sale online and allow interested buyers to review listings and contact sellers. Unless clearly stated otherwise in a specific listing, Free Market Automotives is not the seller, buyer, dealer, broker, auctioneer, financing provider, escrow company, payment processor, inspector, mechanic, transporter, or title agency.
1. Website Purpose
Free Market Automotives provides an online platform where private individuals may submit vehicles for listing and interested buyers may view listings, ask questions, and contact sellers.
The website is intended to provide a cleaner, more privacy-focused vehicle marketplace without artificial intelligence pricing manipulation, invasive third-party advertising trackers, or unnecessary data collection.
2. User Eligibility
You may use the website only if you are legally able to enter into agreements and comply with these Terms.
If you submit a vehicle listing, you represent that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or have full legal authority from the owner to list the vehicle for sale.
3. Private-Party Listings
Most listings on Free Market Automotives are intended to be private-party listings submitted by individual sellers.
Free Market Automotives does not guarantee that any seller is licensed, that any buyer is qualified, or that any transaction will be completed.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for performing their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.
4. Seller Responsibilities
By submitting a vehicle listing, the seller agrees that:
The seller owns the vehicle or has legal authority to list it
The listing information is accurate to the best of the seller’s knowledge
The VIN, mileage, title status, ownership status, lien status, condition, photos, and description are truthful and not misleading
The seller will disclose known major defects, title brands, accident history, odometer issues, flood damage, salvage history, liens, payoff obligations, or other material issues known to the seller
The seller will not submit stolen vehicles, fake listings, altered VINs, false documents, or misleading information
The seller will cooperate with reasonable verification requests
The seller is responsible for complying with all applicable laws related to the sale of the vehicle
Free Market Automotives may approve, reject, edit, pause, remove, or request changes to any listing at its discretion.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings carefully, asking questions, inspecting vehicles, verifying title status, checking vehicle history, confirming mileage, reviewing documents, and deciding whether to purchase a vehicle.
Free Market Automotives does not guarantee vehicle condition, ownership status, title status, mileage, history, value, safety, legality, emissions compliance, registration eligibility, or seller statements.
A buyer should not rely only on a listing page before purchasing a vehicle.
6. No Guarantee of Sale, Price, or Accuracy
Free Market Automotives does not guarantee that a listed vehicle will sell, receive offers, receive buyer interest, meet a reserve, reach a specific value, or sell within a specific timeframe.
Listing information may include seller-provided descriptions, photos, videos, history, comments, and statements. Free Market Automotives may review listings, but we do not guarantee that all listing information is complete, current, accurate, or free from error.
7. No AI Pricing or Automated Valuation
Free Market Automotives does not use artificial intelligence to secretly price vehicles, manipulate buyer behavior, rank sellers by hidden financial profiles, or create invasive user profiles.
Any pricing, reserve, asking price, or sale expectation is the responsibility of the seller unless expressly stated otherwise.
Free Market Automotives may provide general listing feedback, but any such feedback is informational only and is not a guaranteed valuation, appraisal, or sale price.
8. Listing Review and Moderation
Free Market Automotives may review listings before or after publication.
We may edit formatting, correct obvious errors, request additional information, remove prohibited content, reject incomplete listings, remove suspicious listings, or decline listings that do not fit the platform.
We may also remove comments, messages, accounts, or listings that appear fraudulent, abusive, misleading, unlawful, spam-like, or harmful to the platform or users.
9. Fees
Free Market Automotives may charge listing fees, success fees, promotional fees, or other fees if stated on the website or agreed to by the user.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, fees are not contingent on a completed sale and may be non-refundable once listing review, preparation, or publication begins.
Fee terms for a specific listing may be shown during submission or in a separate listing agreement.
10. Vehicle Transactions
Free Market Automotives is not a party to private-party vehicle transactions unless expressly stated in writing.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging payment, title transfer, registration, taxes, transportation, inspection, insurance, emissions compliance, release of liability, bill of sale, and any other transaction requirements.
Users are responsible for avoiding scams and unsafe payment methods.
Free Market Automotives does not guarantee payment, delivery, title transfer, buyer performance, seller performance, or completion of any transaction.
11. Title, Liens, and Ownership
Sellers are responsible for accurately disclosing title status, lien status, payoff obligations, ownership issues, branded titles, salvage history, rebuilt status, odometer issues, and any other material title-related information.
A vehicle must not be listed if the seller does not have legal authority to sell it.
Free Market Automotives may request title, registration, lien, payoff, or identity information to help review a listing, but such review does not guarantee that a vehicle is free of title problems.
12. Vehicle Condition
Vehicles listed on Free Market Automotives may be used, modified, damaged, repaired, aged, incomplete, non-running, or sold as-is.
Unless a seller clearly provides a written warranty directly to the buyer, private-party vehicles should be treated as sold as-is.
Free Market Automotives does not provide warranties, inspections, mechanical guarantees, safety guarantees, or condition guarantees.
13. User Content
Users may submit listings, photos, videos, descriptions, comments, messages, and other content.
By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate the rights of another person.
You grant Free Market Automotives permission to use, display, edit, format, store, publish, promote, and distribute submitted content for purposes related to the website, listing promotion, platform operation, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, and business communication.
You are responsible for the content you submit.

20. User Disputes
